Panasonic's massive 4K tablet said to arrive in US in January

The 20-inch 4K tablet, which boasts a 3,840x2,560-pixel resolution, will reportedly go on sale in the US in January for a whopping $6,000.


Panasonic's 20-inch 4K tablet, which was first showed off at CES, could be landing the US at the beginning of next year.

Panasonic's Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 will go on sale in the US in January for a whopping $6,000, according to a report from Engadget. The Japanese company had already announced that the ultra HD slate would be available in Europe in November.

The tablet has stunning 3,840x2,560-pixel resolution and, according to Panasonic, its IPS Alpha LCD panel accepts "10-point multi touch" and has "a unique natural handwriting pen option."

The tablet runs on Windows 8.1 Pro and has an Intel Core i5 processor. It also comes with 8GB of RAM and has a 256GB solid state drive.
